No, she's London born and breed. I have heard that they do have German blood but I've also heard that they have a lot of different blood lines that aren't completely English.

George I, a cousin of Queen Anne, inherited the throne. He was German and preferred Germany over England. His son, George II, also was German and so on. The descendents of these Germans married Germans, and so throughout the 1700 and 1800s, most of the monarchy was German descent. Elizabeth (the Queen Mother) was English. The current queen is more English than has been in centuries as will be William when he is king. By the way, the Saxe Coburg dynasty changed their name to Windsor to sound more English during WWI.

The Queen was born in London on 21 April 1926.
Queen Elizabeth is the male-line great-granddaughter of Edward VII, who inherited the crown from his mother, Queen Victoria. His father, Victoria's consort, was Prince Albert of Saxe-Coburg and Gotha; hence Queen Elizabeth is a patrilineal descendant of the German princely house of Wettin.

She was born at her grandparents' house at Bruton St, London. A lot of xenophobes in this country love to go on about how the royal family are 'German' even though the last German-born king died in 1760.

Ive never heard of that one, but even if she was it doesnt really matter. Her family always came from the elite royalty of England regardless of whether she was born out of the country or not.
