If you mean to love spouse who has been a stranger, you know their basics and you get lenty of time to interact. Co-existence and the feeling that you will always be together breeds the love. If you know loving someone other than spouse, you have to realize that true love is not something that can be measure in meters, litres or pounds. It goes much deeper than that and once the infatuation wears off in a year or two, you will get to know about that yourself.
