Ok, so I think my profile picture is a good step towards that acme I'm striving for...

aversion of my eyes away from the camera lens was important...however, there's clear beginnings of a smile there, and I need to wipe that away. Maybe if I grow my hair out, make sure to frown and look completely disinterested, and screw around with the contrast and resolution to make the photo look grainy and dark, it could be better. Maybe I should display my scarred wrists and shift the focus of the shot towards the wall or something. Or maybe I should just start thinking about how terrible my suburban lifestyle is, how no one understands my depth, and I could cry, then snap a shot. Suggestions?

I guess sarcasm is harder to read online.

Your user name is awesome. This question is awesome.

Yet, in the face of the twisted mass of of angst that is my life, these mere facts are are a cruel mockery of reassurance. Perhaps if you were smoking a cigarette. Whatever.

Aside from the brief, sex-like connection that your eyes have with my words on the page, my message is meaningless. It would be cool if you, like, caked on some dark mascara also. And by "cool," I mean a blatantly conformist nose-dive into the abyss that is society, sheep one and all.

And also, if you would put some objects in the background that reflected unmistakable squalor and a total despondency and disregard for your own well-being, that would better reflect the inner inner strain on your tortured, scarred soul. Maybe an Evanescence poster or something. When I look at their lead singer, I see a tragic reflection of the neverending circus that imprisons my existence. Plus, she's pretty hot.

I disgust myself.

Question! Why do you want to become 'emo'?

for the people i know it was kind of a natural thing but then again i cant ask them becuase they are dead now, im the last of the group :'(

oh that is so depressing (i like it)

try wearing black and when taking photos think of the worst memory in your head then times that feeling by 1 hundred it helps to do it in a dark place with minimal lighting (at least its worked for me)

take a look at some pics of kurt cobain. study his frown, rebellious strand of hair accross his furrowed brow and the lone tear appearing just in the corner of a sorry eye...

if you want to look more emo, you should get a bowl cut that makes strand of hair go over your eyes, also you eyes should be looking deep and menacing in the photo...you should also keep a serious expression on your face.
