From the voice of experience I would wait until you have had at least 2 periods. I didnt and I had a 2nd loss... better safe than sorry

I had a miscarriage in February (at 12wks) and my doctor said it was better to wait for 2 periods. I got my first period 1 month after the first miscarriage, so I suppose I ovulated about 2 weeks after the miscarriage. My doctor said it would be normal for it to have taken longer.

Since your doctor said you could start trying right away (each case is different, i'm sure...), I would advise you to wait for the first period because it will be easier to know when you'll be ovulating and it is useful to know the date of your last period when you do get pregnant (for scheduling your pregnancy test, ultrasounds, predicting the due date, etc.).

Good luck!

Please give yourself at least one month, just to be sure it is possible to have a good environment for a baby again. The doctor may have said differently.

I think this would be a more specific question for a gynecologist... Also I think your body needs a little time to recover.
