I had 2 operating system on my computer win xp pro, sp2 and updated regularly & win2000 updated and DSL connec

when I am using win 2000 and leave my pc with power on and stand by for many hours and come to use the network again, it works good with no problem,, but when I do the same with win xp,,it can not detect my network and I have to restart my pc again to work with network on win xp,,,what is the problem?how I fix it in win xp?

i might be just logiing out of network just conatct u r dsl connection provider

its not good 2 use standby or hibernate
