but they support same sex marriage and abortion? How can any person call theirselves a Christian, yet support the proposterous ideas.If you ae not a Christian then plese stay out of this on. I am not discriminating, only asking that if they obey the 10 commandements, then why do they support this?

Not all liberals support same sex marriage and abortion. This is like saying that all conservatives support torturing prisoners of war.
I am a liberal. I support civil unions for homosexuals, and I am pro-life. I am also a Christian who obeys the ten commandments.

I am a Christian and relatively conservative but I find it ironic that so many Christians have adopted a 'sin of the decade', namely homosexuality. In my opinion, sin is sin. Jesus never pointed out one sin as worse than the other.
You are asking that they obey the 10 commandments but have you seriously examined your own conscience and gone thru the 10 commandments. Which commandment forbids homosexuality? Could it be the 'coveting another's wife or property. Could it be 'bear false witness', could it be honor your father and mother, maybe don't steal, don't lie (bearing false witness).
Do you judge, gossip, swear, get angry, lie? Do you love your wife as Christ loves the church? Are you submissive to your husband?
What makes anyone play God by judging others?

Liberals tend to feel that moral decisions are between a person and god, not a person and their legislator.

Maybe your perception of religion is skewed, I think that you need to ask yourself who is the judge of other humans. Certainly not you. God will judge them, He will tell them pass or fail, it is not your job as a christian to be your brothers keeper. You do not have to support this behavior either, but accept it as you will never make it go away. Mans laws cannot make it go away. This is really one for the head master.
