Started happening to me a few years ago, now i get two or three a week that are in vivid colour with touch and sound. And i seem more autonomous and have more control. Previously I would be running away or feel confined to a certain place but now I feel I go to more locations without pressure and constantly I'm not defenseless when things happen to me.

If you're interested in the supernatural perhaps you're keeping a dream diary or reading into dreams. It's documented that with practice dreams can be remembered longer and more clearly upon waking. All dreams are beleived to be a lot like this, but the deep sleep patterns that occur between dreaming erode away fresh memories of them and so they appear blurry or indistinct if remembered at all. But a mental trigger can be developed that causes you to wake or half wake at the end of a dream in order to remember it before sleeping again. and also if you wake up immediately after your last dream of the night without another period of deep sleep, you will remember it clearer.

The reason hon maybe Cuz your body is changing. May the fact is your spirit realm is tying to tell you something. It could mean a lot for things hon. for all I know is that if you feel like your doing stuff in your dream. Like you feel you are a wake but all reality you still dead sleep. This is what is called "OBE" out of body experience. Maybe try to Tell yo something that will happen in the future that you need to know now in Oder to prevent it. I suggest yo see a dream person or a physic about it. BTW if the dream is the same for three days or is the same but gets and more intense. It maybe that it will come true in real Life. The thing is start writing your dams down. Everything you can remember when you awake. This may help you too. :) I hoped i helped

I've noticed my dreams are really vivid when I am sleeping well, relaxed and feeling really good. When I am stressed from work and I don't get rid of that stress before going to bed, then they are vague and hard to remember. Sober as a judge huh? Doesn't say a lot anymore.

Everyone dreams many times a night..even if you dont remember the dreams.. vivid dreams are usually occuring if you have something bothering you...are stressed..or if someone who has passed is trying to give you a message...try writing your dreams down the minute you wake up....don't even go to the loo first as once we wake our conscious kicks in and buries our subconscious which is where dreams come from. Thats why we can remember dreams in bits and pieces.

You have left out a lot of really important information, dear. I need to know if these are repeating dreams, if they are involving people and places that you know, what exactly you remember upon waking, and why they are a little scary. I think these things hold the key to answering your question. Please re-post or e-mail me with the answers and I will try to give you a better answer.

I find I have vivid dreams if I am either stressed or overtired.
Also I suspect that diet has a part as a cause.
I suspect some combinations of fatty and sugary foods... like chinese takeaways and ben and jerrys... might have something to do with it...

I find that the more vivid dreams are from a lighter sleep just before you wake up, and especially if you've been dozing off during a lie-in.

Have you been paying more attention to them? I find that is I talk about/write down my dreams on a regular basis, it sends a message to the subconscious saying "Hey, I'm taking the messages you're sending seriously" and they change quite a bit...

I think they can get like that if you become more introspective or are doing work on yourself or are more aware of the way you behave and react. My own are more vivid lately too.
