With the exception of genuine situations of paranormal activities, people think too much of this 6th sense stuff. I'll boil down intuition for you.
Let's say you see a shifty-eyed guy, and you think he's up to no good. Well, possibly it's because somewhere in your past in real life, or from what others have told you, or from TV, you saw a shifty-eyed guy, and he did something bad. So your brain just short-circuits this experience and turns it into what you feel as intuition. Now, if you had never seen a shifty-eyed guy before, you might not think or feel anything about it. But because of all of your past experieces associated with such a characteristic, your brain has learned to trigger a certain feeling without having to go through all the validating process in between. It's how we train our soldiers to react quickly under battle condititions.
The reason why people seem to believe in intution is because your intuition is sometimes true. Of course, I've seen a bunch of people who were dead wrong about their intuition. So given that intuition is so unreliable, it's silly to think that it's all 6th sense.
Again, I don't discount the possibility of a genuine 6th sense of sorts, but most of what passes as intuition is just how our brain has distilled our past experiences so that we get a certain feeling from a certain stimulus.
And people who claim to have 6th sense, go win the lotto and donate it to charity, then come back and tell me you've got it.

You mean 6th sense- Yes we just tend to ignore it much of the time!

Everyone sure does have a 6th sense.. your gut feeling (no not wind) and your intuition etc., as well as other things.
For some its easier to tap into than others.

Everyone has a "6th" sense...we're just scared to use it and the ability has atrophied due to lack of use. People are so afraid of it that they call it "Satanic".
We need to all wake up and realize our power! We need to quit thinking that unlimited power is bad. If power is bad, then "GOD" is one evil dude!
