I would choose:
Copenhagen: beautiful city; I read Danish people are said to be the happiest in the world.
Stockholm: beautiful medieval district with the most modern transport.
Paris: just because it´s absolutely beautiful, but it would be stressing living there.
Prague: I would love living there; peace and quiet; marvelous city.
New York: just for a visit, not to live there; too stressing too.
Amsterdam: also beautiful and everything is at hand.
Granada, Spain: that´s where I live and it´s the most beautiful city in the world. There´s history, museums, The Alhambra, a skiing resort 30 kilometres far from the city centre and nice beaches at 60 kilometres.

Mexico City, Istanbul, Athens and Rome for history, from the UK then Istanbul is the best value for money in cost and things to experience

From my opionion, Miami, FL, Savannaha, GA, Sandiego or Sanfransico. CA....... Rome Italy, Barcolena Spain... (top might be Cancun or Mexico city in Mexico (depends on what you perfer, search the internet and see what you prefer...
