So far this school year, there have been over 25 school shooting incidents. So how should students deal with this? Well, in the Independent School District of Burleson, Texas, their training students to immediately fight back – using their advantage in numbers to take tactical control of a gunman if he enters their classroom.

It's better to go down swinging than just take it. There have been to many instances of people just doing what they are told and then they get killed. I would guess that part of what they are teaching the kids are escape and evasion which will help increase their chance of survival.

Yes..... I am a parent, and I think what the school district in Texas is doing is a good idea. I have school aged children and I worry about them daily. I think if all schools follow the program it would make them safer. Something needs to be done and with such steps it could improve their chances in shooting circumstances.

Sir I will take this liberty to ask a question in my answer, I would like to know why people are killing small kids in your society which is rated the best in the world, these kinds of acts do not take place in a barbaric society like ours our gunmen tend to shoot adults not school going children. I would like a intelligent answer from our educated yahoo Americans.
