Who will win the ICC Champions Trophy?

The ICC Champions Trophy, the second-most prized competition in one-day cricket, has started in India. Who do you think will win?

The bookmakers have made Australia favourites. Ricky Ponting's side impressed against England but will they repeat their form?

Many will fancy the hosts. India thrashed England, but can they maintain momentum in front of a fervent home crowd?

Controversy continues to follow Pakistan. Shoaib Akhtar and Mohammad Asif have been sent home from the tournament by the Pakistan Cricket Board after both players tested positive for performance-enhancing drugs. However, Bob Woolmer, the coach, believes the team will miss Inzamam-ul-Haq more. Will the disruptions tell?

To remain in the event, England need to thrash the West Indies and hope India easily win their remaining matches. Is there any hope for Andrew Flintoff's beleaguered side?

West Indies

West Indies, without a doubt.

When you have Brian Lara, Shivnarine Chanderpaul and Ramnaresh Sarwan in the same team, that gives you a batting line-up that no bowling attack can demolish easily.

Plus West Indies are the defending champions, so there's the confidence surge from knowing they can do it this time, since they have done it in the past.

As it stands now, I feel South Africa will win the Trophy as they have got best bowling attack and fighting qualities as displayed in the matches against Pakistan and Sri Lanka

Gilchrist will make twin centuries in the semi, and then the final. Australia to win and then take a confident attitude into a winning ashes series.

May be. I wish too but Agarkar and Yuvraj are injured now so it's difficult for India to qualify for semi finals.
