They have such a huge liberal bent that makes most American media look almost center of the political spectrum instead of merely an arm of the DNC.
In fact, the BBC bias has gotten SO noticeable, even people INSIDE the BBC have begun to complain.

Most News media dances to the tune of it's owner or shareholders hence Rupert Murdoc and sun/Foxx news. We the public actually fund the BBC so that It can be free of commercial or political influence/s
BBC is well respected all over the world because of it's unbiased and factual news coverage.
Of course the asker may se things from another point of view and I respect that

If you call independent, balanced coverage of new, analysis and opinion as biased, I guess you'd get the 'yes' you are looking for. You do have to use your own critical thinking abilities to arrive at your own conclusions, instead of having them pap fed to you as, say, FOX does.

the guv does play a role to an extent but news agencies try to be unbiased wid no exception there...coz it is ethics but there's is always some role of the powerful one///

totally, news is usually in favor of government or the allies of the government. making things seem in their favor is in the bet interest of the country
