saw the video of the pelican eating the pigeon, never knew they would do that so don't suppose it would happen often enough and besides going to Trafalgar square to feed the pelicans doesn't have the same ring to it, and pelican droppings yuck wouldn't fancy a surprise prezzie from one of them seen the size if them?

Because pelicans do not normally eat other birds, as reported recently, and if they did thier poos would be much bigger and more troublesome than those of the pigeons.
