Why do people not get involved when there is a fight at a baseball game or football game. I mean what happened

to the people with real balls that will stand up and say this is not good for the game or my kids . I wont stand for it and Im pressing charges!

because a sporting event is considered a socially acceptable means of physical expression. a sporting event is considered a "controlled event" and the things that happen there are considered socially acceptable.. it's considered "controlled violence" there is part of the mind that considers some violence acceptable, as long as it it is in the context of a "game".

Sometimes thats what people really pay to see. Society lost its attention span. They want instant gratification.
