As far as I know only the police can ask the service provider for the owner of the number.
You might try asking YOUR service provider, they may well give you some details.

I would ring it but make sure i withhold my number that way you may recognise the voice on the other end. Or you could forward the number on to the police that way they may be able to trace the person unfortunately this will only work if it is a contract phone as pay as you go are not always traceable

I feel for you, i was getting nasty text messages and the police couldn't help and neither could the service provider because the phone being used was pay and go. They will be able to trace the number if it is a contract phone though as it will be registered to someone. The problem is that phones that are pay and go are sold on so anyone could have that phone.

take the number to the police and tell them your getting calls thats keeping you awake might help.
but pay as you go or secondhand phones are not always registered so it would be hard to trace who is doing the calling.
you could try a mates phone to call the number and see if that brings anything to light.

What if the cellular became 'pay as you flow'. you do no longer might desire to sign in the telephone so monitoring the form right down to a single guy or woman is impossible. If the txts save coming it ought to be greater handy to alter your sim.
