My 11 year old daughter keeps forgetting to wash the windows in her bedroom. I dont think its too much to ask that they be cleaned twice a week. Im trying to come up with suitable punishments

Well, don't you think asking an 11 year old child to clean their windows twice a week is a bit too much? When the kids are 11, you should be happy if they make their beds, not to mention cleaning their bedrooms. You don't need to punish her, she'll have plenty of time to wash the windows later on, as an adult... Sheesh.

Asking a 12 yr old girl to wash windows twice a week? Really? You are asking too much. Try to focus on keeping her from smoking and not having sex. If you feel the need to make sure the windows get cleaned twice a week, glue them open all the time. If the windows are that dirty, then shell get dirt all in her room and then shell want to clean them if you just let her keep them closed.

wash the windows? i never washed a window in my life nor did my kids. I wonder what else you expect her to do and why you are so anxious to find a punishment for her. Frankly I think your daughter has a problem -----you. I believe you could use some counseling.

Find something else to be more worried about than a window being cleaned thier is no punishment for this type of situation.Just make a comprimise that ya'll can both agree on.
