there was a club in site and in publication until 1&1/2/yrs ago it was called 2600club.com same as the sundry. It would show the hack of the day and they would be famous for a day or a yr. Like when they dropped ebay and msn. in one day. This what really started kids to turn to "black hats"
"white hats are good programmers like providng this site . although the 2600 is defunct in pub. I think the site is up under 1st amendment. But IF it is locked on its going to be fed ridden which is good. But basically these type sites give a REWARD SYSTEM! so they get big props and bragging rights. Now they (fed) have trained a new branch of h.s.(Homeland sec.)white hats white hats also work for norton anti-virus mcafee..etc. But.. lets say he looses his job what will he do with his vast head make spy,mal,share,ware anything to make money and get back @ system 32 or the server more over with mirrored computers which is nt4.0 It all boils down to malicisnous. They want to crash sev.peeps if not a mad lover sending it to you. these kids are the same people that get guns and kill there friends. In my old days you use to here the proverbial phrase "you watch to much t.v." same apllies nowadays but its so ingrained in our world and the pc that there will always be vandals. thats all they are ;I shouldnt have inferred kill ,but they want to mess up things for other people usually it isnt the whitehat turning black its 70%kids or iraqi s@ our night time that want to prove a point. Viruses, t.h. and malware is rarely directed nowadays at you they are mass mailing worms. Or spyware like BIGEYE rightnow. Download yahoo toolbar new. And get the norton spyware scan it will take most if not all out after you surf. and have norton and keep it on its toes. Its a cold cold world. instead of 2 jackets youneed 2 guns. peace ,lol,respect hope i helpd. Bad people manifest even the most brilliant taboo rotten stuff w/ a175I.Q. they are just mad. or MAD(british stylee)loco;.})

computer viruses are made by normally kids or young adults that want to prove to the world they can cause problems or trying to get noticed by peers of the computing world.

as they said, its either made by young kids that wants to be noticed or someone who is sick and hates something
or it is said that some antiviruse companies are creating viruses to sell their antiviruse program
