Multiple DUI's and he beat up a quadraplegic. I probably shouldn't have said that last thing.

No but I am sorry to hear yours is. This is sad to hear. I know life must be tough having to have someone that you need locked up. You do not have any control over this but you have some control over what you do so try to learn not to be a sheep and follow others that go down that path. It is very hard to reverse any serious mistakes in life like going to prison. I wish you the best and hope your father uses his time wisely. Prison is a sad, disgusting, negative place. There are aspects of prison that can be utilized to make us better if a person uses them while they are locked up. If he has a drug problem he needs to work on it in prison and when he gets out. Never give up hope but always remember not to hope and wish your life away because someone else has wasted their life. You have to do the best that you can and not follow the losers but follow the winners in life. Surround yourself with good people or none at all. Educate yourself and be honest. Never steal or lie. With those basics life will not suddenly be easy but if you choose anything else I guarantee your life will be miserable. Go with the best and leave the rest.

Nada, but I know someone who's dad is also in prison. She's doing well and happy even though things are kinda painful to her and to her family. She has a very strong personality and I really admire her for that. ;)

sorry about your dad. My dad only thinks he's in prison when my mom treats him like the warden.
