I am wanting to hire a car for 19 days in december. pick up the car and drop it off at Los Angeles Airport. Does anyone know any good car companies (not to pricy) and what is included with the cost. thanxx :)

there are many to choose from. I have used hertz many times from LAX, transfer takes you to the company.

Budget and Dollar car rental are usually the cheapest.

However you can go to www.cheaptickets.com or www.orbitz.com, and you can put in the dates that you require a car and it will give you the price for all of the companies. Just choose the one with the best price for the car you want.

Personally, I think the best way to go is priceline.com.

I'm guessing that "hiring" cars in other places is different from renting cars from the US. All you get is the car... insurance coverage is optional here, and is a separate charge. You'll also have to return the car filled up.
