Yes. I fully agree with you. I strongly feel that it is good very good in the interest of the team as India need a solid as well as attacking batsman, so that he can play according to the situation of the game. Instead of start hitting the ball all around from the word go it is better to settle down first, measure the bowling attack and then tear the bowling apart according to the situation of the game. If Dhoni can do so, it will be an advantage to India. .

Ya i agree but i think our whole team has become defensive, to maintain their positions in the team, anyhow they know that INDIA is so crazy bout cricket that they forgive the players bad performances often and the players also get a lot of booty from ads, so they care less !

lemme tell u dude....am GLAD he's learnin' to be Defensive...everyone knows he has never been technical with his batting...he is a slogger.....the matches ya r mentionin' against pak and sri lanka are only a proof of his HARD HITTING...no 'technique' thr....so he's been gettin' Out in a rather rediculous way in d recent times....either he wud get Bowled out of some good bowling or he wud get caught of some mistimed shot....so now if he's learnin to be a bit more defensive and if this method cud get our team some precious runs from him.....just like in d last game....i dont mind that at all....

Yes i agree with you. Now he is really getting the kick of the game. Now he is playing somewhat like Dravid who acts as a great barrier. And i hope he continues to do so. Dhoni is mature enough now to understnad the game. hehe....

No he isn't getting defensive, actually the bowlers are now know his batting tactic and they didn't give him room for hit.

BEING DEFENSIVE IS A SKILL TO B ACHIEVED ACCORDIN TO ME, IS IS VRY TOUGH TO B SO... BUT BEING AGGRESSIVE IS VRY SIMPLE, HIT THE BALL TO THE BOUNDARY, BUT THE RISK OF LOSIN WICKETS IS VERY HIGH. ITS BETTER TO B AGGRESSIVE WEN UR TEAM NEEDS MORE RUNS
