It's too bad the Cardinals can't fire the owner. Bidwell is a joke.
When Joe Montana was trying to decide on whether to go to Phoenix or Kansas City to finish out his career, he was tempted by the Cardinals' offer, which would have paid him $8 million in the first year, as compared to the $5 million the Chiefs had put on the table. But Montana's first visit to Phoenix almost was comical. Then-general manager Larry Wilson got lost while taking Montana for a visit to the team doctor. And the physical Montana took hardly was the extensive exam he got from the Chiefs. Finally, Montana met Bidwill.
Then he signed with the Chiefs for $3 million less in 1993.
What does that tell you?

As a Bears fan I feel slightly guilty the way they folded at the end of that game. Though we "took" it more then they gave it.
Arizona reminds me of the Cubs a to a degree. They seem to have a cancer from within.
Having a brother in Phoenix, I realize the angst over there. But Bidwell just doesn't care and its a shame. And football has revenue sharing.
I like Denny Green, but how can you win there, really?

I'm a Cowboy fan and have to admit I'm jealous of the Cards. You guys lucked out with Leinart. I think Leinart is a young Peyton Manning. If you can just surround him with some offensive talent you have a 9-10 win team each year for the next decade.

Unfortunatley the've been bad for long time now..
Owner needs to go - he is below the salary cap but doesn't want to go out and get a competitive team, just few players here and there. But that's not enough!!
