This purports to fix a problem on my computer. It says I am sending out some sort of virus on my emails. Is this a legitimate fix or a virus?

The e-mail is the only virus on your pc! Delete it straight away, and mark it as spam. A few people have had this - Microsoft will NEVER e-mail you an update like this, Windows updates itself.

Whatever you do don't open it i think your best thing to do is go to your computer manufacturers website and look for an update there and even type in Secure@telkan.com in the address bar and see what comes up you may be suprised.

it sounds pretty fishy to me. if you have anti-virus software, try scanning the email for viruses, but dont open it! or just delete the email, and scan your computer for viruses, just to be sure you dont have viruses your sending in email.
