No its just that you probably concentrated more at the movies than at home watching the dvd! That's happened to me before!

A director's cut DVD will be released in late 2006; it will feature director Terry Zwigoff's cut of the film, but will be three minutes shorter than the theatrical cut and ten minutes shorter than the unrated version.

A comedy always seems funnier when you see it with an audience, since everyone laughs. What is more, since you knew what jokes were coming, there wasn't any surprise in it for you. Finally, you might just have been in a different mind set or mood when you saw it the first time.

I think that people in general enjoy movies more in theaters because it is an event. I see movies in theaters and enjoy the experience and the move. I can watch the same movies at home later and not enjoy them as much. Examples would be the jackass movies and the star rs movies and the wedding crashers.

I don't think they edited. Stupid funny movies tend to get more laughs in the theatre, because others are laughing. It's a general mood.

Try renting Badder Santa. That might be what you viewed at the theater. That's one of my favorite movies of all time and I thought
it was hysterical.

You mostly saw the rated version...the unrated version is closer to the theatrical version.
