You already know the answer. You said it yourself. Same ole crap.
He wasn't thinking of you while he was doinking her. He's sorry now cuz he's lost out on your support.
First of all, I'd have him document the affair in writing, including naming his mistress. Tell him you want it in writing so he can't go back on it. Then send him a certified, return-receipt-requested letter telling him not to contact you in any way, shape or form or you'll consider it harassment. Take a copy of his letter to HR and have it put in your file as a CYA from his supervisor.
Don't EVEN buy into the "I'll kill myself if you don't take me back." His guilt is NOT YOUR ISSUE.

Caroly J, honestly, LEAVE THIS MAN ALONE!!! He needs help. He first of all feels sorry that he cheated and basically got caught up. Now what he probably didn't think you would do is leave him alone for good. Now he needs to be all melodramatic and show his rear end (for lack of a better word) to try and get you back. Don't fall for it. Be strong and keep on moving. There is not point in being with someone who is going to cause stress to your life and that is all this man seems to be doing. And a word of advice, someone doesn't tell you if they are suicidal or have intentions on harm theirself, they just do it. He is a cry for help. Maybe he needs to deal with the fact that he actually hurt you and now you are ready to move on without him. Hope this helps!

He's trying to control you by telling you he's having suicidal thoughts; a friend of mine went through the same thing.
He messed up.. well that's his problem to deal with. Move on with your life. Be careful.. people like that can do crazy things.

Aight look. I'm going to be blunt about this, as I am about everything... He doesn't really love you, or he would of NEVER cheated on you. I know what true love is, and I would NEVER cheat on my babe. But in any event... He is not a man. Remember a man needs not a woman for happiness but to add on to a happy life already.

Break up with him! You can control what you do but you can't control him! If he would treat you this way then he does not love you. He only loves himself!
