No. I think you have something to fear and your not being irrational. Getting electrocuted by a potato is no laughing matter. I fear strawberry flavored metal poles. Imagine licking that in the winter time.

Well, no.... you see if you go to mash them or deep fry them while they are on, the chances of them shatterring increase and the shards if they find their way into your undershorts.... well you can imagine what happens to your chance for children...

It is possible that you might limit the dangers if you use bulbs not exceeding 25 watts... but still look for the UL label on each bulb...and ONLY buy bulbs marked "GROWN IN IDAHO"... all this advice of course should be ignored if you live in the UK or anywhere where 220 lines are standard.

Potato flavoured lightbulbs? Good lord...I thought I did a lot of acid when I was younger...you must have licked the chemist's spoon, my friend...either that or you spent waaaaay too much time touring with The Grateful Dead...
