I really love this strip. The part when he talkign to the imaginary friend and its integration with the real world around is wonderful. More over the expressions on Calvin's face are very dramatic, particularly when he is angry or annoyed he looks like as if he is going to blow the world apart.

Love 'em!
Hobbes is my favourite character, but Calvin is pretty neat too. I also really like Calvin's dad.

The best Calvin & Hobbes I ever read was when Calvin threw himself on Hobbes and said "ahhhh..fur therapy!", or something like that. Anyway, I thoroughly relate to that feeling..I miss having pets, & take regular trips to pet shops for some 'fur-therapy'.

It's great strip. I had a book of Calvin and Hobbes that I read and reread. I think a chord is struck. Good memories and feelings are invoked.

They were good. I miss them a lot. The reprints are all right, but nothing like getting the new originals ones as they appeared for the first time. Still, my hat's off to Bill Watterson, and I wish him well, wherever he is.

When I served in Nam. My sisters always sent me Calvin & Hobbs
cut-outs on the outside of the envelopes. The postal disperser never had to call my real name. He would just yell "CALVIN"

I was always a kid trouble, but not bad, real trouble, not like the rapper garbage, getto, prison, gutter, pigs that spout hate and murder and black attatude that makes us all hate good Black Americans. Dump the stupid ball caps. dump the ugly attitude look, Just start being human insted of gutter. Don't you know that all that excess wasted material that you butt heads ware is the laugh of the garment indistery. "Sell; all that crap to the dumb Ni**ers!! Just a bunch of stupid F**ks. Why would they make themselves look like fools except to murder and use dope and sell it on streets and gun down kids. Yes, They won't let me say it, but there are Black Loyal Americans...........And then there are stupid Ni*g*e*r*s!!!!

I like it, and the correlation between it and Fight Club. Both Calvin and Tyler have an imaginary friend/major mental problems.
