Michael J. Fox is afflicted with Parkinson's Disease. It is a motor system disorder characterized by tremor, or trembling in hands, arms, legs, jaw, and face; rigidity, or stiffness of the limbs and trunk; bradykinesia, or slowness of movement; and postural instability, or impaired balance and coordination. Unfortunately, at present there is no cure for such disease. But I heard he is helping in funding the research for the said disease.

He doesn't have Lou Gehrig's Disease, he has Parkinson's.

He made an ad for a politician who supports stem cell research. His medication was making him unable to control his movements. Yes, his medication was doing it, not being off the medication.

Rush Limbaugh said he was faking it.

That's kind of it in a nutshell.

He has Parkinsons Disease as far as I know. Apart from the occasional commercial, I haven't seen him in any recent movies or programs on TV.
