If it's an impusive anger you are going through, just act formal and civilized for a while and get a hold on yourself but if depression is something you are going through regularly or longer than a day or two, get all dressed up, put on makeup and go with your friends. Smile, even if you don't want to, at any opportunity. Try to see world as if you are seeing it for the first time, like a child. Look at how cute children look, how tall the buildings are, how funny someone looks while eating and drinking, what all you can tell about people by observing them. Slowly, you will feel better. This is not something philosophical, it is an actual way to deal with depression. Give everybody a smile. Speak less, listen more. Tell yourself what you are missing and how much more beautiful the world looks when you really look at it. Hanging out in groups helps to uplift our moods.

First of all If your friends are really good, you can share many feelings with them, but at the same time if they are not good or understanding, u can't share anything with them. But if u are out of mood, be alone for sometime to get out of that depressed mood. And you can read books, watch television, etc. And if u really have a good friend, why to be away, share with them, u can feel free out of your problems.

well for me, if you are depressed then you should really be with your friends so that they can help you to somewhat ease the sadness that you are feeling.. if im not in a good mood.. well thats a different story and i prefer to be away from them..

i think it depends a lot on the factor- HOW ACTUALLY UR FRIENDS R.. if u have good terms wit them then bein wit them in difficult times can feel lik heaven i can tel u.. in general friends of opposite sex can support n understand u better.. can go for a movie, to eat,temple if u find peace there or jus a walk along a quiet green road wit ur friends talkin of somethin out of ur world is wat u need 4 ur depression to vanish.. i can assure.. but if u r not sure of how good ur friends r, then u can better be away from them.. a nice old song,a humorous movie,some good novel or the idiot box tv itself can lighten ur mood.. make sure u get involved in ur hobby.. i feel the most imp role of hobbies in life is not jus time pass but to give hand in ur bad days of depression.. jus try out n see the difference:-)

if u r depressed u can overcome it with the help of ur frnz then u should be with them but if u r in a very bad mood & talking rudely to others then u may break their hearts.
