Okay guys, I dont shave all the way down very often, usually just use clippers, cos when I do my face just feels like sandpaper. Before I would use a regular non electric razor and it would just tear me up, the electric doesnt do that so bad but still I could scrape paint off a wall for a few days after I shave...any suggestions?

1. Make sure your skin is taught ~ pull it, stretch it, make faces, etc when shaving. Taught skin shaves far smoother than loose.
2. Try using lighter pressure on the blade. Don't push down on it so hard; rather, skim it across the skin lightly, letting the blades do the work.
3. Try using a shave cream for sensitive skin. I'd recommend Edge Shave Gel for sensitive skin (orange cap). I can do a real nasty job on my throat if I'm not careful and this product has helped prevent the rash immensely!
Good luck!

I agree shaving sucks. I use an electric razor because my skin is very sensitive. If you feel like you can scrape paint off the wall, then you probably need some type of lotion to smooth out your skin.

you can either deal with it, or get some sort of moistening cream or something(nivea has really good stuff from what i hear, i havent personally used it tho), or you could try one of the fusion's theyre great bc they have alot less irritation, however i would prefer electric any day so i dont feel naked bc i shaved all of my facial hair off...

You might try a depilitory cream. It is like nair but they have some that is formulated for facial hair. They even have some that is formulated for men.

You have to be careful with it as it can irritate your skin.
