Having a regular menstrual cycle is usually a sign of good health. When you have a late period or missed period it could be a sign that something is up. There are many different reasons for late periods but if the problem continues for more than one menstrual cycle, make an appointment with your doctor to discuss the issue.
For any woman-Stress, rapid weight loss or gain, illness, drugs (certain tranquilizers) may have disrupted cycle.
If you are sexually active (you said you were not but I'm just listing some examples why a period can be missed)-pregnancy
Using the Pill-Pill brand is too low in estrogen .
Former Pill user-body hasn't yet adjusted to life off the pill; see doctor if periods don't resume in 3 months.
Using Mini-Pill, Norplant, or Depo-Provera-common side effect of progestin-only methods of birth control — drug is probably suppressing ovulation as well as period, effect may be prolonged; most common among new users of Norplant and long-term users of Depo-Provera.
You may be having a lighter or shorter Period... and the causes for that are as follows:
Any Woman-missed ovulation (no egg released from ovary)
Sexually Active: early pregnancy — some bleeding may occur on implantation; ectopic pregnancy — especially if accompanied by sharp pain on one side
Using the Pill-less endometrial build up, a common Pill side-effect
Using Mini-Pill, Norplant, or Depo-Provera common side effect — drug is probably not suppressing ovulation if periods are regular
I'm not a Doctor...I'm just a Corpsman...

Are you diabetic? Type a million Diabetes is without doubt one of the such a lot normal reasons of unexplained weight reduction. This might motive you to overlook your interval. I'd pass to the health care professional and get checked up if I had been you, probably you don't seem to be good adequate to have your interval. And I tremendously doubt it is melanoma for your fallopian tubes. There are SO many matters a overlooked interval can point out to, so simply do not pay attention to any one that is supplying you with a exact disease.

It could just be a cause from stress. It isn't uncommon to skip a period every once in a while. If you don't start next month then see a doctor. Every once in a while we all skip them. You have cramps and feel bloated.

There are alot of causes of missing your period. It is not always pregnancy. Hormonal problem is one common cause and hormones are given by doctors to correct this. Other might have cysts in the ovary , like Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome or PCOS, in which hormonal pills are also given by your doctor.
Whether you are pregnant or not, doctors have to do pregnancy test and ultrasound on you just to rule out pregnancy. There are alot of patients saying they arent pregnant but they turned out to be. It is needed by your doctor for documentation purposes too.

You could be having you period right now, but really really light so that you dont even notice it. My periods always come on random date's in the 20's though so you should be fine and have nothing to worry about.

if you are very thin, or very physically active, like a runner or something, those activities can reduce your female hormones and cause missed periods, if that not it go to the doctor.
