Yeah Home depot really doesnt have a good selection. And I only need a few square feet, no thicker than 18 guage

Try lowes , they have a good supply, call them, maybe they can help.

Try your local paper they have thin sheet metal that they use like back for printing.They may give it away or it might cost a little bit.I haven't got any in a long time.

I don't know where you live. Here in California I'd try www.homedepot.com or any large home improvement store.
