Jews are different than other nationalities – by their customs and religion, and to a lesser extent by their names and appearances. This in itself is not productive of antisemitism, but it does single out Jews as different and provides a point from which antisemitism can breed.
Then what causes antisemitism to breed as the 20th century so clearly has shown. The breeding is catalyzed not by gentiles, but by Jews, not all Jews, not many Jews, not a few Jews, but a very very few Jews whose lifestyle belies everything Jewish.
Gentiles and Jews are born in the same hospitals, grow up in the same neighborhoods, attend the same schools. Each gets a perspective of the other from observations and thought, and unfortunately, emotions impact on that perspective. This can be positive or negative with respect to the attitude, and perspective each develops towards the other. Yet there are some situations where antisemitism breeds in maddening proportions, and, unfortunately, it is those very few Jews who are responsible. One particular situations are glaringly evident – the Jew who was born and grew up in the same neighborhood and attended the same schools as his gentile neighbors and classmates, and after that, adopted the “nouveau richeau” life style – the Rolls Royce, top of the line sports car, import or limousine, to show off his claim for “success” for all to see, while the gentile neighbor and classmate from back then, is struggling to make monthly mortgage payments on his car, furniture and home, much less support his family.
Every Jewish community has some of these characters, that create feelings against Jews in general, not just the show-offs. There is nothing to be inferred or insinuated that just because this person with “nouveau richeau” life style necessarily obtained his wealth wrongfully, but is shown here only to establish a cause and effect for the triggering of anti-Semitic feelings, specifically, the triggering of the emotion of jealousy, one of the most destructive and rabid emotions that infest the mind. This was what the Nazis latched onto like a burr in Germany in the 20s and in the depression, where unemployment was widespread, and there was much social distress while Jews in Germany appeared to not suffer that sorrow by reason of what Nazis pointed out to be “wealth stolen from the German people”. Germans latched onto that quickly, because it was easy to see the difference in Germany by reason of the different lifestyles enjoyed by some Jews and not enjoyed by most Germans.
The instigation of jealousy by Nazis into the German mind worked, as it reasoned out in the German mind certain things that were observed by Germans but not analyzed thru their own thinking, but which the Nazis thought out for them and put in their minds. This situation of “nouveau richeau” has arisen in America today, which gentiles take ready notice of, when the very few Jews who adopt this demeanor of public attention are spotted.
But there is more to this phenomenon. It’s the other side. It’s the type of non-Jew who succumbs to these feelings of jealousy that spur the utmost in feelings of hate towards Jews. It’s the non-Jew who has inadequacies in some significant segment of his life, usually academic or commercial, that led to failures and losses. These people project their inadequacies away from themselves to avoid self agony, and convert these feelings of inadequacies into feelings of hatred for those they conceive are responsible for their failings – namely, the Jews. In the economic plight of Germany during the depression, this fueled nazi anti-Semitism, the point where the Nazis gathered both their numbers and their political force and their “appeal” to the masses.
This segment of society exists everywhere, and when economic chaos appears, those who find themselves inadequate to cope with the circumstances, pick out the Jews as a scapegoat for their failures and jealousy fuels that hate.

At the time it wasn't just Hitler. In Russia long before Hitler they had pogroms (sp?) in which the army would go into villages and kill all the Jews.

Alot of theory on why the jews were and are persicuted.

My over siplified answer is this:

One of the main theorys is that early on, because of the Catholic church, christians were not allowed to handle money.

That became the job of Jews.

When you handle all the money, chances are you will be wealthy.

This caused much animosity from the general public which Hitler saw and exploited for his political gain.

Adolf Hitler hated anyone who wasn't from his own race. He picked on the Jews, because they owned many of the businesses at the time and he saw an easy way of making a lot of money and becoming powerful. The actual hatred against the Jews was propaganda that he used at the time as an excuse to have them imprisoned and in many cases executed. Hopefully, we will never have another in the world like him again.

Hitler hated the Jews, because back then in Germany the Jews were dominating the country, in business, executives, and all other financial institution. Hitler, felt that Germany is all "White" race nation, and should not tolerate other races dominate the country. Hitler's goal was to wipe out the Jews, but when it was very successful Holocaust for him, he thought he could do the same to other European countries and then the rest of the world. But he was stopped. I wondered, what Hitler would do if he could reach Africa and Asia?

Well, Hiltler believed that the Jews wkerke rkes;pnsiblke for Germany's downfall in the First World War.
Also, hke beleived Jews to be the most inferior of the human race. And thus, sought to purify Germany.

Herr Hitler was as it turns out 1/4 Jewish. So, he more than anyone understood the Jewish peril that Deutschland faced.

Thankfully for us, his father, Alois, was smart enough to get rid of his Jewish last-name a little over 10 years before the fuhrer was born. Otherwise we would be stuck with Heil Shikelggruber.
I still prefer HH.

Musulmana, if you are a follower of Muhammad who told you to help the Jews build their synagogues, why are you hateful toward the Jews. How can you call yourself a good Muslim and do that?

I've, so, enjoyed your answers in the past.
