My dog is 12 and has never howled while awake! This is the funny part...She HOWLS like a wolf only when she is dreaming! She picks her head up like a wolf and howls for a good 30 seconds. Of course this always happens at like 3 a.m. !!! Scares the sh*t out of me!!
