Well, Michael cant die because he is being posessed by the "Thorn" curse..if u remember a man named "Dr. Wynn" from "Halloween"..we see him in Halloween 6 and thats when we find out about who is controlling Michael to kill everyone in his path. Wynn is the leader of a cult.

Can Michael Myers Die

When "Halloween" stops making money, Michael Myers will die. He was supposed to be killed in "Halloween II". The producers then planned a series of Halloween-themed movies that had nothing to do with Michael Meyers. "Halloween III: The Season of the Witch" tanked at the box office. And people wanted more Michael. So without explaining how he survived the fire in Part II, they brought him back. They've never given an explanation as to how he survived the sequels, other than to say he's "pure evil" and therefore not human. This totally contradicts the first movie, but as long as people buy tickets, they'll crank out sequels.

Only one film has provided an explanation, and it's a pathetic reason to boot.

"Halloween: The Curse of Michael Myers" (sixth in the series) presented the idea that Michael was involved with a Druid religious belief called the "Curse of the Thorn". Essentially, a child is chosen every so often and hears a voice that drives him to murder his family. That person is invincible and driven by that murderous impulse until the task is done. In the movie, Michael father a child with his niece Jamie, and that child was meant to close the circle and bring an end to things.

Putting that garbage aside, Michael has been presented as the physical manifestation of the "boogeyman", which lives on as long as it is feared.

Because certain segments of our movie-going public continue to go and see these films. That's why sequels abound in general: Movie producers aren't big on taking chances, so they don't invest in what they don't see as a sure thing. The odds are always good that a well-grossing movie will spawn a well-grossing sequel. If we all signed over our paychecks to the MPAA, they'd not be able to get anything more out of us no matter what movie they make. I'm betting Michael would die pretty quickly in such a case.

Few people realize that Michael Myers is the brother of David Myers, the actor who plays Kenny on the Comedy Central TV series Southpark. Like his brother David, Michael comes back to life the next week after he dies sometime the previous episode.

He can't die; he has a curse upon himself. Until the curse is lifted (by killing all his closest family members) he will continue to be able to walk the earth in his quest to kill them. The 6th Halloween movie is all about the curse and how it works but it gets really confusing because not all the movies follow the same storyline restrictions so it changes. But yeah, he's cursed so he can't die.

Is this the Halloween Michael Myers or the "Wayne's World" Mike Meyers? The Wayne's World Mike Meyers is a god and cannot die - what would Garth do without him?

Because a bunch of evil druids put The Curse of Thorn on him, which makes him want to destroy his entire family lineage and also is the reason he can't die. He won't die or stop killing until the curse is lifted. This is explained in the 6th movie.

They never really give a solid reason. One of the umpteen sequals suggested he was the embodiment of evil, but, that never sat well with me. The general theory is he is just so driven and devoid of being human it's almost like he doesn't know he should die.

I know, that one doesn't hold much water either.
