Nobody can really answer that without knowing exactly where you are. Almost all high-speed internet connections are location dependent. Your across-the-street neighbor could qualify for DSL and you may not. You may have cable access and they may not.

The best way to find out is to go to http://dsl.metrot1.com It will instantly qualify your address for Cable, DSL, and satellite high-speed internet. You will be able to compare providers and sign-up right online if you choose. You may even qualify for a $50 rebate.

I don't live in FLA but call the phone company. Ultimately no matter who sells you the service they have to go through the phone company because they own the cable it runs over. Why pay extra to have some other company order it for you?
