Talk to other preachers wives --that have been married awhile-- who have the type of relationship with their husbands that you want. , because they have already walked the road still before you.
Ask them "if you were just starting out, what would you have liked to know then that you know now." And listen to the answers. Write them down if need be.
And cultivate these great women as friends to support you in your early going.
One bit of advice from the "guy side" of the fence, by the way. Biologically our Father in Heaven created women with about twice as many connections between the sides of their brains as us poor men have. So many times you will see things and make connections that aren't even visible at first glance to most men.
"Submit" those thoughts to him in gentle, kind words -- usually after the immediate situation as you feel inspired to , but never with sharpness or criticism. Be a second set of eyes, a second set of years, a second compassionate heart to help him bear up under the load. God will bless your union if you do this.

This may not be the place to post a question like that here. Try speaking with other wives of Pastors/Preachers. I'm sure it's very intimidating and a huge responsibility. However, if your husband is truly called to be a Pastor and you guys are equally yoked, don't worry too much..Just trust, believe and pray..Still speak with other wives..I'm sure you'll learn so much and get much more out of them than you would here.

you dont. you prepare to be a wife, period. you are not marrying the whole church, only one man. prepare for him. as you live with him, you will discover aspects of his work that you are intersted in doing with him. do those things freely, and without compulsion

Support him in whatever way you can. You and him will be put on a pedistol, but don't stop enjoying life. Have sex, have good sex. He'll be a man of God, but he's STILL a man, a sinner, like all of us are.
