The First Born Son (MIKHAEL SPEIDEL) Has an arrow spiked through the middle of his forehead, as the result of playing Cowboys and Indians with a real bow and arrow.

The Torso (DANIEL WESLEY): A gambler who, lost against a "made man" and ran off without settling the bet. The mob caught up with him and made an example of him.

The Bound Woman (LAURA MENNEL) was strangled and then buried under the fifty-yard line.

The Withered Lover is the ghost of Jean Kriticos (KATHRYN ANDERSON), died in a fire, whilst attempting to save her children.

The Torn Prince (CRAIG OLEJNIK) died in a car accident, because he didn't brake in time when he was drag-racing the local "greaser".

The Angry Princess (SHAWNA LOYER), committed suicide, by slitting her wrists, as she grew weary of trying to achieve perfection.

The Pilgrimess (XANTHA RADLEY). The town preacher accused her of witchcraft, and she was sentenced to die from exposure (in the stocks) and by the abuse of her fellow townspeople.

The Great Child (C. ERNST HARTH) and The Dire Mother (LAURIE SOPER): Harold was spoiled by his mother, who raised him to be her protector and to exact revenge on the other members of the carnival who kidnapped her. When he caught up with the culprits he found that his mother had accidentally suffocated to death by the bag that she was kept in. Harold, in rage, took an axe and killed the group of murderers. Later, he was killed by a torch-waving mob that wanted to put Harold through the wood chipper. But despite repeated attempts, the mob couldn't manage to stuff his giant body into the chute.

The Hammer (HERBERT DUNCANSON):
the local townspeople wrongfully accused him of stealing and drove him out of town. He hammered the 10 people responsible for spreading this untruth about himself and hammered them to death. The townsfolk caught him and took him to the blacksmith shop, where his captors drove nails into his body and chopped off the blacksmith's most prized possessions, his hands, and left him for the crows to pick over his dying body.

The Jackal (SHAYNE WYLER), When a fire broke out in the Borehamwood Asylum he did not escape." He was locked up because of his insatiable appetite for women - specifically, for attacking and biting them! After years of unrelenting imprisonment with his arms stretched back in a straightjacket and his body twisted grotesquely, his limbs grew horrid in shape."

The Juggernaut (JOHN DE SANTIS) died in a hail of bullets from the local authorities who were trying to arrest the serial killer who was impossible to subdue physically.

The First Born Son is the ghost of a little boy who looks relatively normal – except for the arrow spiked through the middle of his forehead. He died that way b/c he didn't listen to his parents about not playing with real Indians and Cowboys and shooting a bow&arrow in the air....

Wrapped in cellophane, The Torso trundles through the basement accompanied by his decapitated head. He supposedly didn't learn his lesson about scamming and gambling. He lost to a mob who caught up with him and made an example of him. Actually, several small examples, wrapped in cellophane.

In her heyday, The Bound Woman was a pretty cheerleader who was strangled on a prom date gone bad. Her b/f at the time found out she was cheating on him and strangled her after prom on the football field.

The Withered Lover is the ghost of Jean Kriticos who perished in a fire. When her house started going up in flames, she died trying to save her children.

Because The Torn Prince is the ghost of a teenager who was wiped out in a car accident, he is quite handsome when viewed from the left, but the entire right side of his body and face are dramatically ripped and shredded, the result of his lethal road rash. He was a high school baseball jock who was challenged another hs guy to a drag race and lost.

The Angry Princess, a young woman who committed suicide- completely nude, gashed from head to toe and drained of all blood. She was a beaty but never believed so. Thinking that, she wanted to kill herself and cut herself in a bathtub.

The Pilgrimess, accused of witchcraft, she was sentenced to die from exposure and the abuse of her fellow townspeople. In the afterlife, she is permanently locked in wooden stocks. She lived in a tight-knock town and when their livestock died they acused her as a witch and that only a witch could do such damage and thus she was sentenced to death in the stocks.

The Great Child and The Dire Mother -the demented mother manipulated her giant-sized baby in an attempt to create a monster son who would be capable of carrying out her elaborate revenge fantasies. They were eventually murdered by a "torch-waving mob".

The Hammer is the bloodthirsty spirit of a murderous blacksmith. His ghostly incarnation features spikes and nails embedded in his head and body, a large hammer bolted to his wrist in place of a hand, and chains enveloping his torso. The townsfolk wrongfully acused him of stealing. He got mad at the ten people who did this to him and hammered them to death. Well the townsfolk got ahold of him and brutally murdered him-nails into his body, hands cut off and left out for the crows to pick over him.

The Jackal whose crazed face with its yellow eyes and deadly sharp fangs peers out through a rusty metal cage that has been locked around his head. An escapee from a turn-of-the-century lunatic asylum, this feral, hunched-over creature also sports a hideous set of lethally long claws. He was locked in an insane asylum for biting and attacking women. He supposedly hated any kind of human contact (his arms in a straigh jacket) that when a fire broke out he rather die than try to escape.

The Juggernaut , who died in a hail of bullets. As a result, in the afterlife his body is riddled with bullet holes from head to toe. He was a very large disfigured serial killer. The only way to kill him was to pump his blood with lead.

*I found everything at that site, the only reason I wrote so much was b/c I was curious myself. Also by the way, in the movie all this wasn't known to the audience, it was more of a background for the casts :-)*
