I saw a post about a guy asking below if he should wear a skort. What is a skort? Just wondering as I've never heard of those before.

A pair of shorts having a flap or panel across the front and sometimes the back to resemble a skirt.

In the early 1970's they were a combination of a skirt and shorts. They had the length and size around of a skirt, but were divided into two legs like a short has. Some had a piece of material that covered the front so it looked like a wrap around skirt, but from the back you could still see the divider that made it not a normal skirt and you could see the legs; like shorts would have. But they also had ones that both the front and back had the middle part visible. Some were very easy to see the divider that made up the legs, but some were full enough that unless the person was walking, you didn't see the divider. Skort is the words skirt and short combined to make one word. When I was in high school back then, no pants were allowed. We had to wear either dresses or skirts. (No it was not a privet school or church school, but was public school. Just a lot different back in the 1970's)

A skort looks just like a skirt, but is really shorts but you really cant tell unless your the one who is wearing them.

U have never heard of a skort before ? Where have u been LOL! anyway they are just a sirt that is attached to a paair of shorts!

Its a skirt with shorts under them.
Sometimes its shorts with a flap over the front that button on the sides so that just the front looks like a skirt.
