I start taking clomid today and was wondering if it would affect ovulation or Pregnancy Test.

The likelyhood of a pregnancy occuring is increased with Clomid but if there is an unknown reason for why you are challenged in getting pregnant- you could definitely get a false positive and have an early miscarriage. That happened to a friend of mine and it was devastating, but she did the Clomid again and now has a beautiful son.

Because Clomid is an ovulation-enhancer, it is reccomended not to take an ovulation test until 4 days after you have taken your last pill. It can cause a false positive on most ovulation tests. You should ovulate 4 to 9 days after taking the last pill, so don't worry about missing it because you had to wait. Pregnancy tests shouldn't be a problem with Clomid. Good luck!
