There are thousands of kids here who need good homes, and oftentimes, when you go through your state's child protective services, there's little or no expense. Meanwhile-- it can cost upwards of $40-50,000.00 to adopt from some other countries.

Is it because they're racists?

It's Fashionable. It's an Accessory. It makes you look good. It's the child you act like is an animal that you snuggle but don't want to talk with. It's kinda like a Pet. It's not bad on your body, it's not related to you so you can't blame yourself, and your allowed to.. whereas the Government here would put you through a bunch of stuff and say you were not allowed to adopt (especially after past experiments with certain types of wealthy people) and there is alot less paper work some how.

All the children that are the result of incestious rape between a family member and their mother, that were taken from the mother who can't stand to look at them,.. which are more likely to have health problems from inbreeding,.. They MAGICALLY DISAPPEAR and reappear into Gods arms. So the Republicans can't adopt these children.

Added: I agree with the others. Not all Republicans ONLY adopt and ONLY adopt OVERSEAS. But these are reasons some people do.

I wonder how you came up with this conclusion. Kinda silly if you ask me. As someone mentioned earlier, most of your liberal celebs are doing the adopting overseas. That's all you see right now in the news and tabloids!

The silliness of the question prompted me to answer. I happen to be republican, and I adopted both my kids right here in the US. My youngest just happens to have some Cantonese in her, and she is a little more olive complected than the rest of us at home, (she almost looks Native American) but none of us give a rip! Who cares! If there are children than need loving homes, what does it matter?

Liberal, conservative, black, brown or white, what does it all matter? If someone is willing to open up their home to a child, irregardless of where that child is from and you can change that life for the better and give that child the love of a family, (unconditional love!!) WHO CARES!! If people want to spend $40-50 thou, let em. It all balances out, because trust me, there are a slew of people who cannot afford to spend that much to adopt, and stay in the US.

If the US would change some of their adoption laws to make it go a little quicker, that might help. People get tired of 2 year waiting lists! And the 6 month waiting periods in most states. So I can totally understand their desire to go abroad if they can get it done in a fraction of the time it takes us here in the U.S. to adopt.

the human beings I see adopting distant places are those who desperately want a toddler. maximum of them attempt to attempt this by valid organizations both the following or in different countries. i don't think everyone has ever requested them in the adventure that they were republican or democrats. not in basic terms that in spite of the indisputable fact that the adoptions are thoroughly criminal. i don't think of the Republican administration has something to do with it. those adoptions were occurring because the best of WWII. the biggest names you spot adopting distant places are action picture stars or pop singers and that i imagine they in basic terms straight forward go purchase the toddler. obviously this does not agree such as your theory that they are republicans because all of us comprehend that the action picture stars and dad singers are, for the most area, liberal democrats.

Typically, conservative Republicans do have more money than their liberal counterparts. I think those that do have more money often like to prove it to everyone else, and sadly, paying more for a child is a way of showing that. I don't think it's a race issue as much as it's a statement of personal status in society. Sad, but probably true.

No, most Republicans aren't racist. They just want to bring a foreign and introduce a boy/girl to American culture.

Actually, I think American babies are much harder, and more expensive, to find. And you are supposedly bringing them over to a better life. Then you also rarely have to worry about the birth parents changing their mind and coming to find you.
