What is with this new rule that if your answer gets two thumbs down then it gets put on probation?

Just change the setting right above all the answers. It's automatically set at 2 thumbs down, but you can stop that. Just switch it to "Show: All Answers." But yeah, it's hecka lame...

I've noticed that if you get two thumbs down it won't show your answer unless you click on it.
I had no idea that you get probation.
What the heck is probation anyway?!

I did not know that.
Last night I was voting on undecided, and at one point it said I earned 2 pts. instead of 1. And they don't let you know when you reached the limit for getting pts. for votes. So you can sit there voting and getting no points.
And, they don't notify you by e-mail to let you know you have a Best Answer?

i didn't know about that, but i'd say it'd keep abusive persons from doin much harm. yep, a lot of abuse goes on, but remains unreported because 1.no one (cares to?) reports them. 2.we all just tolerate them. so let's all side with the good guys, i guess.
yahoo can even pull your account (everything you have to do with yahoo) if you are abusive. let's not go down that road..

I didn't know that. That a bit tough. Especially if you are being honesy with your answer and they don't like your answers.
