Well...I think you better keep looking..I know a lot of people will tell you to defy your mother but in all reality..most marriages that don't have the parents blessing are not going to work out...you might think you will be able to walk away from family but that isn't realistic...and just ignoring what they say?? well that's just wearing after a while. Let's face it family is important to most people...so unless you can sit down with your mother and plead your case and find out exactly WHY she doesn't like you choice my advice is to keep looking.

u r here to decide ur proper soulmate
try to understand ur mother
if it didnt work
do marry ur likings
u can let go ur happiness and right person away
but also take care -why ur mom didnt want ---is there any strong reason

Well...mom isn't marrying her, you are. Tell your mom that you appreciate her input and her worry, but that in the end, the decision is yours. You have to stand up for what you want and what you believe in.

you cant do what moither tells you to do for the rest of your life other wise you will be locked in your room untill your 80,if you love her then you go marry her this is your life now mummys had hers she will accept things and if she doesnt then you need to leave mum untill she changes her ways
