No. And you've been very confused by years of incredibly daring lies told by a whole bunch of liars operating a huge lie-producing machine.
1) The war in Iraq (or on Iraq if you prefer, although that's a liberal point of view) and the war on terrorism are two completely different things. If you remember correctly, Iraq was about WMDs (or so Bush said). When there were no WMDs, it became about democracy. Only when democratization was shown not to work did it become about 'fighting the terrorists on their home front'. Lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies, lies and more lies.
2) The war on terrorism, like Reagan's war on drugs is an industry. Security can't even keep drugs out of a prison. How are you going to keep anyone that's up to no good out of the country? Accidental falls kill more Americans each year (By far!) than terrorism, and so does lightning. If a politician proposed to spend the kind of resources on lightning security than they're doing on terrorism, they'd call him crazy. Which means the Republicans are even crazier.

The war on terror and the war on Iraq are about a completely distorted reality and they're both about making greedy rich men even richer.

I think hippie is an outdated phrase. I consider myself to be middle of the road politically and I think that Bush has proven himself to be the most radical president in history and probably the biggest liar.
This is not a war on terror this is a war for oil. He's a savvy businessman and knows that it is slipping through his hands. And see how many people have died -even our own soldiers to this corrupt agenda? Military wives and mothers around the country are crying for their boys to come home because everybody knows that this war is a bunch of cow plop.
There were no wheapons of mass destruction just a bunch of old rusty rifles that were buried somewhere and forgotten. And as for Iran he can't touch them because they have Russia and China batting for them and is too sticky for us.
Osama bin Laden is probably some local sheep herder that was paid a million $'s by the CIA to be on the front page. Who knows? How can we really know anything? There have been so many lies. Believe me I know what I am talking about my husband was a producer for news and current affairs with a govt owned television media group and he knows a lot of inside stuff.
Now the muslims are being attacked for it but people here seem to forget that muslims put christians in the minority any day and outnumber any other religion. So who are we really targeting? And who are we trying to fool? Americans are messed up because they believe all the things they see on all these right wing extremist media. Anyhow I hope I didn't offend anyone but its my view and I lived in Pakistan for two years and just came back. I never saw any violence or al-qaeda people. I never saw anyone blow anyone up and no one hated me because I am a white American. Believe me when you live half way around the world and are really there you will have a totally different view of things.

I support war on terror but i am against your illegal occupation of our country. We were better of under Saddam than we are today under the US. We have jumped out of the frying pan and into the fire. US will never be able to govern us. We will make sure of this. Dont get me wrong,i dont hate the west, but i believe in self rule. Mind you the Iraqi people never wanted go to war but the powers that be prevailed and as usual when two elephants fight the grass suffers. All said and done we cant cry over spilt milk but we can make a better Iraq if the US GETS OUT of our country and leaves us in peace. We will solve our own problems as we have done for the past 1000 years.

No, I am not a hippie.

tell me, what good is the war on terrorism?

what has it accomplished?

Oh, wait...i know the murder of 60,000 innocent people. They may be Iraqi, but they are still people. An 8 trillion dollar price tag. Oh...and an entire country brainwashed into thinking that it is necessary.

When will people ever open their eyes?

Some of us may be, the fact remains though that anyone with sense (or perhaps a sense of ethics is closer to the mark) is against murdering 600000+ Iraqis. Using white phosphorous to burn innocent people to death. Viciously put down any kind of resistance to our occupying army rather than negotiating with local resistors. Detaining people indefinitely in some hole in cuba without trial. Torture etc.

Or is it wrong and "hippylike" to be against war-crimes?

I ask you, with the above offenses and more (too many to name here), repeated violations of UN rulings, who are the real terrorists?

I agree.
An Islamic hippy, no less. Let me explain .......

The terrorist demand is clear: You will convert to Islam .... or you will die.

I don't like either of those options, but, because they're still alive and against the war, I can only surmise that they converted - hence, Islamic hippies.

I used to think that way until I reviewed the physical evidence and noted that the governments story is a PHYSICAL impossibility.

Not necessarily. There are many groups opposed to our efforts to defeat Islamofacism. That being said, I think all those groups are delusional.
