still not having equal rights in many other countries possibly just a matter of human nature? I as a female, although, will not publically admit it so wish that I could find a male that would dominate me completely. I think it is a matter of feeling safe for me or something, as if a man actually had the power, in this country to cmpletely dominate me, then he also would be my protecter. So is it just human nature that women are naturally weaker then men, and maybe we are also naturally rebellious, (because of pride issues), but maybe we all truely inwardly desire to be ruled over by men? Or, is it just me? I'm sure that this question will raise a lot of contraversy, I apologize if anyone is offended by it, but it is a question I would really like to know the answer too.

Alot will probably hate me for this, also, but women ARE actually the weaker sex. I think the family system actually started to deteriorate when all this "women's lib" started. Now both are working, the children are in day-care, everybody's eating fast-food most of the time. And I don't want to hear BOTH have to work now a days. Alot live WAY beyond their means.

Although, that might have been the doctrine for centuries we face an evolving human being were the sky is not the limit anymore, and male and female are not define the same anymore. Change is inevitable, is the effect of knowledge and women are changing. I think they are a little out of balance now trying to understand their freedom but they will find their way. The spectrum is very wide for females although you are right on the instinct part of the feel for security.

From the histories that I have read, some of the more conservative countries in the Middle East, the women learn to control the men from behind the scenes.
In the United States, most of the wage discrepancy is based on time in job. Women tend to take a break from working to raise children than complain that they are not paid the same as the guy that has been working for 30 years. That is one of the reasons that there is not more women CEOs and upper management because once they get married and have children a lot of them slow down their careers to take care of their family.
I am lucky most of the women in my life our strong and would rather work together with their husband than have one dominate and the other passive.

Your feminine independence is charming..
Women by nature are weaker than men..
Women in most western civilized societies are protected
artificially by the society but they are not protected from the
society nor are they generally made safe by their men in most
cases...Women can be truly safe in a mans hands but the man
must be as much a protector and caretaker as the woman is vulnerable and submissive...It is a two way street and western legalized equality does not provide nor fulfill the woman in the manner she truly psychologically needs, Western feminists have found nothing but unhappiness...She has been robbed of her submissive femininity...Submissive femininity does not mean surrender of independent thought and action, it means putting herself in a mans care and acting from the bounds of his arms.

I think that you need to speak to a psychiatrist,I understand that there are people who like to be dominated but I dont think it is normal to want that behavior.women are usually weaker physically but not mentally if I understand what you are saying you think, all men will protect you because they would have total control over you??? I dont think so anyone having complete control over another person would be degrading as well as abusive ,I really hope you talk to someone to help you figure this out

I am not offended, but honestly, after growing up here in the fifties and seeing the women around me so dependent on their husbands, I vowed never to be that way. I vowed that I would always be able to support myself and my marriage would be because I wanted it, not because I needed someone to pay the bills. and that has worked out just fine

Im a man, but I know that most girls i have ever been with would expect not equality, but to be treated better...BUT...at the same time they would be financially/emotionally dependent upon me (or my other friends w/ their gf's). Im glad you can actually admit it b/c its rare for a girl to admit such things.

I dont know but you sound like my kinda girl. Sometimes it feels good to have a woman view me as a protector. And yeah, I'd say the reason there isn't pure equality lies within both genders
