How can I help a friend that I've known since we were both three years old. The past couple of years she has just went down hill, she seventeen and already has a baby has anotherone on the way, does all kinds of drugs even when she is pregnant, and has just turned into a slut. She'll sleep with any boy that just give her a little attention. And her sister is the same way she is expecting her first baby and is sixteen. There mom does not even try to tell them it wrong to do that stuff and my mom and dad don't want me to have anything to do with them cause they say it gives me and the rest of the family a bad name. They use to be the nicest people and so godly you could'nt even curse around them. What should I do I'm not saying its bad to have sex an stuff but you should not whore yourself around.

I am soooo sorry, but your friend was lost a long time ago. You are too young to be able to help her. Think about it. If the adults in her life can't help her, then how can you expect to be able to do anything effective for her at your young age. I know you feel obligated because you are really a good person, & want to be there for her. But she's made some really bad choices, & is probably going to continue that way for a long time to come.
She is not the same person you knew before she got into her sh*t. Drugs change people, & she has now become the drugs. She lives for the drugs, has sold her soul for the drugs, & will sell yours too if you let her. That is why your parents don't want you to see her anymore, because they love you & want to protect you from the potential harm that your friend is exposing you to.

The absolute & total truth is that you will never ever be able to help your friend unless & until she genuinely asks you for help in getting free of her addiction & current lifestyle. But statisticly speaking there is only a slim chance that she will ever do that.

Sorry, but you need to look after yourself 1st. You will accomplish nothing if you get so involved with her problems that you end up ruining your life too. There is a book that you might want to read, & it will help you to understand addiction, addicts, & the roles that the people around them play in their addicted lives. It's called "Codependant No More" by Melody Beatty.
Give it a read, & start worrying about yourself 1st. Your friend knows best how to survive in her world.

I've seen this so many times...and it invariably happens to people who 'poo-poo' religion and morality, and decide that they "want to be their children's friend and not their parent" as one friend snapped at me when I pointed out that her providing birth control pills to her 14 year old and allow her boyfriend to sleep over in the same bed as her daughter wasn't the best parenting.....not much you can do about it except pray for them. A good example for you on how NOT to parent.

looks like your eyes are open... good for you!
unfortunately besides praying for them and letting them know you care about them .... there isn't much you can do for them!
people need to help themselves before you can!
she can go to jail for doing the drugs while pregnant..... maybe that might do her good!
