Nope. I loved biology classes. At least the advanced courses. The introductory classes were pretty much all incredibly boring. I think they must do that deliberately to weed out the people who are really keen or something, because it's the same with introductory courses in almost subject.

Perhaps if you were to take some more specialized or advanced courses in biology you might find that you enjoy them more.

As a PhD in biology I agree that the introductory courses are a tad too broad to hold interest in any one subject. This is why the higher courses are interesting. They focus in depth on one subject. The fact that you thought the course description was interesting enough to take the class probably also says something, too. Even so, I have forgotten most of what I learned in most of these classes. The thing that was actually most important for me was not learning the stuff, but learning how to learn the stuff, and learning how to look up what you need to know.

I agree with haysoos. The intro level classes are nothing to get excited about, but some of the advanced ones are pretty good. If you're into that..

yes, i do. i am not fond of the natural sciences. but i LOVE social sciences, such as sociology, anthropology, history, and psychology. it's so much funner studying the social sciences!!!
