Last year at this time I was "like on the horse"...Got accepted in the Police Academy! It was the best thing ever happen to me, and because of a stupid mistake I got kicked out! Friends and family kept telling me "It was not for you meant to be!" or "There are something better for you out there...", "Good things will happen to you..." "Things happen for a reason..."
But since then, I have lost several jobs, I gained lots of weight, I am completely broke, I am not happy at all, I even have a law suit over my head because of my stupidity...I got in fights and arguments all over the town, with people who just happen to be there...Everything went down the hill..

So, what is then "meant for me" , Is there something good going to happen, or people just tell you sh***T just to comfort you...

Or does everything really happen for a reason...

I am sorry for everything happen to you...
But don't you think that you might became little bit depressive and just can't find anything interesting after Police Academy...You might be disappointed in your life after failing...What ever happen to you does nothing have to do with whatever your friends told you...
You are the master of your life, you are the only one who can fix this...

Yes, everything does happen for a reason. I could write pages about this but don't want to bore you. Only you can change how your life is going. Get yourself together & find a decent job. You will see in the long run that "this or that" wouldn't have happened if you'd graduated from the police academy. Just hang in there. Keep a good attitude & things will get better.

I think some people can tell you sh**t just to comfort you however I also believe everything does happen for a reason. Good things can and will happen to you hun when you allow them to. Life is sometimes full of tough lessons and God wont give you new lessons in life until you conquer the old ones. And sometimes He has to keep giving us the same lesson beacuse were not smart enough(at the time) to do different. Sounds like you could cleary look at your life and see certain circles your doing.A lot of people myself (formerly) used to try and control life but when we are willing to give our lives over to God its then everything starts to turn around. But in saying that its still about choices, Beacuse God did not create you to be broke, and unhappy..those things stem from your choices.Thats not to say hun that we wont have struggles but if we have FAITH in God we make it through the struggles and onto better things then we thought possible. I would just ask you to look at the choices you are making in your life..and start changing them mintute by minute, and when we mess up and we will (no matter how hard we try not to) dont dwell on it but get back up and keep pushing foward. Lastly just be realistic your life didnt fall to pieces all in one day , so dont expect it to be mended all in one day.Keep God close at all times you'll be amazed at how strong His presence makes YOU feel!

Things really do happen for a reason...I am not sure of your faith, but if you read the book of JOB in the bible, he lost everything. He lost his riches, his family, his health, and his wife even told him to curse GOD and die...but JOB decided that he was going to praise GOD regardless of his misfortune...sometimes we go through these things to help us to appreciate the good times when they do come. Don't beat yourself up about your past mistakes...they make you a better person.

everything does really happen for a reason, yes it is true!
life has many lessons for all of us!
however the road you are on is the one you choose....... maybe now that you know that your road is going down hill, you can try to turn this around...start walking up the hill! it may be hard but it is all on you!

I believe so to a point. I believe fate gives you direction and turns you toward certain paths and oportunities. From there it is how we act in the situations presented to us that determine what happens. so is there fate yes, it is the riverbed life follows, but when we hit an estuary in the river we choose how to go around it or face it.
