FSBO (for sale by owner) is not always the practical option. I'd suggestion networking. Talk to friends, neighbors, co-workers, family for possible referrals. They'll usually give you accurate feedback on their experience. Also, simply calling around and speaking with agents will give you a feel for their availability (very important), personality, and the "product" they can offer you - MLS, open houses, network sales, waiting lists, etc.

sale it by owner that way you dont have to go through all the hassle .A realtor is nice but they will get a share that could have been yours .But if you cant sell you may want to consider they have clients that they know that may want the house if your in a hurry .You have to keep your house clean and make sure you have a place to live or youll be renting an apartment .

Sell it yourself and keep the 6% commision in your own pocket.

See websites to help you out and guide you in the right direction.
