Male nurses are in HIGH demand! Their physical strength makes them a great help in handling disabled adults, and men and women may feel more comfortable dealing with a male nurse. I have a dear friend who has made his profession as a male nurse, and he has a very rewarding career. Those who say male nurses are sissies haven't met my friend. He has no issues around his masculinity! I say - GO FOR IT!

If thats what you want.. Go for it.. It's not just a females job.. At the hospital I work at though the males tend to get put with suckier patients though, if there is someone thats mentally challenged and there is no room up stairs for the person they normally have a male RN or LPN go in there, i mean yes there is security with them too but still not easy to give them pills and check their vital signs and all of that.

Hey, if a guy wants to be an RN, more power to him. I thinks it's admirable that he wants to be around people more to help them. Plus, some are pretty hot!

It's a girl's job. Any guy who does it will be looked on with suspicion of being gay.
Don't bother flameing me....I'm only saying what other people think - even the asker (you wouldn't ask if there was no doubt in your mind, would you?).
