I have bought a few different toys, love them all. If you're looking for something inexpensive, but still very effective, go for a bullet. You can find one for around $10. Also a good way to get a wide selection is to throw a sex toy party. As the hostess, you'll get a lot of free toys. I've been to several, I don't remember all of their names, but i think one was a "Slumber Party." Good times.
